Cookie Policy

Last updated May 11, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Christopher Hilton ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar storage technologies when you visit Conversion Funnel at https://conversion-funnel.ai (the "Services"). It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and how you can control them. This policy is a companion to our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember information about your visit, such as whether you are signed in, what preferences you have, and basic security information. Similar technologies include web storage (such as the browser's localStorage API), which lets a website store small amounts of data on your device for offline or session use.

Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called "first-party" cookies. Cookies set by a third party providing functionality through that website (for example, authentication or payment processing) are called "third-party" cookies.

2. Why we use them

We and our service providers use cookies and similar storage for the following purposes:

We do not use cookies for advertising, behavioral profiling, cross-site tracking, or web analytics. We do not load tracking pixels, retargeting tags, social-media-share widgets, or marketing tags on the Services.

3. The cookies and storage we use

Cookies set by our authentication provider (Clerk):

NameSet byPurposeTypeExpiry
__client_uatClerkTracks the timestamp of the last user-authentication eventCookie (HTTP)~1 year
__clerk_db_jwtClerkHolds the encrypted authentication token that keeps you signed inCookie (HTTP)~1 year
__cf_bmCloudflare (via Clerk)Bot management; helps Clerk distinguish humans from automated trafficCookie (HTTP)30 minutes
_cfuvidCloudflare (via Clerk)Bot management and rate-limiting; identifies trusted browser sessionsCookie (HTTP)Session

Cookies that may be set by our payment provider (Paddle) during checkout:

NameSet byPurposeTypeExpiry
__cf_bmCloudflare (via Paddle)Bot management; protects Paddle's checkout from automated abuseCookie (HTTP)30 minutes

Browser localStorage entries we set directly on your device:

KeyPurpose
customFunnelsStores funnels you create locally on your device, so they persist across visits
currentFunnelIdRemembers which funnel you last had open
cachedTierCaches your most recently confirmed subscription tier (free or pro) so the interface renders correctly on the next page load before re-checking with our server
funnelSnapshotsStores snapshots of funnels for the comparison feature
presentationDirectionRemembers your last-used direction (top-down or bottom-up) for Presentation Mode

4. How to control cookies

You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you view what cookies have been set, refuse new ones, or delete existing ones. If you reject the cookies listed above, some features of the Services may not work — in particular, you will not be able to remain signed in or complete checkouts.

Browser-specific instructions:

You can also clear your browser's localStorage through your browser's developer tools or by clearing site data for conversion-funnel.ai. Doing so will reset any locally-stored custom funnels, preferences, and snapshots.

5. What we don't use

To be clear about what is not present in the Services:

6. Do-Not-Track and Global Privacy Control signals

Some browsers send Do-Not-Track (DNT) headers or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals to indicate that a user does not want to be tracked or have their personal information sold. Because we do not track users across sites and do not sell or share personal information for advertising or other commercial consideration, there is nothing to opt out of through these signals. We do not currently respond to DNT or GPC headers because none of the activities those signals are designed to prevent occur on the Services.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the cookies or storage we use, or when laws change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was most recently changed. We will notify users by email of any material changes that expand the categories of data collected or change how cookies are used.
